Taken at Parker's Crossroads Battlefield in Tennessee on the 150th anniversary celebration.

Parker's Crossroads was a small battle that took place in western Tennessee. Here muskets stand at rest waiting for action. This was the common way for soldiers to place their guns during the Civil War. It allowed for them to easily grab them and kept them drier and cleaner than laying them on the ground.
