Taken at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, USA.

In late May snow falls over part of Mammoth Hot Springs early in the morning. When I woke to go out and shoot in the morning to my surprise there were several inches of snow on the ground. I walked up to the hot springs to get some photos of them under snow. The snow falling and steam rising created a wonderful natural effect to the landscape. A winter wonderland in a wild place.
