The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
A whitetail deer buck begins his leap as he runs across an open meadow. Deer are abundant in the open fields of Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park in Tennessee during the fall and winter months. If you are quiet you might be able to get close to one in order to get a good photograph.
I was heading back to my car on after an early morning hike when I spotted this buck grazing out in the meadow. I was spotted by some does, but he did not notice me. I worked my way closer along a tree line hoping not to spook him. Something caught his attention in the woods which allowed me to get close, but not too close. After several minutes he took off into the woods.
