Artist's Description

A whitetail deer moves through a meadow on an early fall morning at Pinson Mounds State Archeological Park in Tennessee. This buck was grazing in the meadow when I came upon him on my way to the hiking trails in the park. He watched me closely for a while then turned and ran away. I was able to take this picture as of his tail up as he moved away.

Pamela Peters is the owner of Wild Radiance Photography. She is a wildlife and nature photographer from Richmond, KS. She is also an author and public speaker.
