Description
On an early spring morning at Shiloh National Military Park the sun was just beginning to come up as the fog was beginning to lift. The haze over the battlefield seemed to act like smoke settling from the guns. It was as if it was to serve as a reminder of what happened there.
Shiloh is located in the southwest part of Tennessee close to the Mississippi border. It was one of the largest battles in the Western theater of the American Civil War. Sitting along the Tennessee River, it is also one of the most preserved battlefields from the Civil War.
Pamela Peters is the owner of Wild Radiance Photography. She is a wildlife and nature photographer from Richmond, KS. She is also an author and public speaker.
