Description
Taken at Shiloh National Military Park in Tennessee.
Today it is a calm and peaceful sight that serves as a reminder of the past. However, this place saw some of the worst fighting during the Civil War. A cabin sits near the Peach Orchard at the battlefield. This cabin sits near where some of the heaviest fighting took place during the battle. Just behind the trees open up in one direction to the Bloody Pond. In the other direction a trail leads through the trees and opens up into the Hornet's Nest. This cabin sits as a silent monument to those that fought there.
